Crunchy Chocolate Treats

If you have tried any of the recipes I have shared on here, you may have noticed a slight trend: I like simple, quick and easy recipes.  Especially when it comes to my treats; if it takes more than five minutes to make, then it is just way too long for me to wait to sink my teeth into something sweet.  I found this recipe quite a while ago and just filed it away for a rainy day . . . or in this case, a rather sunny day that I just wanted to try something new.  I won't lie, they are not as quick and easy as I like; you have to actually stir the ingredients instead of just dumping everything in a bowl, but they are incredibly delicious and incredibly hard to stop eating.  Just a word of advice; instead of chopping eight ounces of semisweet chocolate, save your arm muscles and just use semisweet chocolate chips.  Just trust me on this one - my right bicep is now twice the size of my left.
